Media Financing Forum 2007
New media technologies are not only creating new opportunities for those who produce content, but also opening new doors to potential financiers and partners. But just how different – or similar – are these new financiers when compared to established forms of financing? What are some of the new financing avenues that are opening up? How should expectations be managed? The Media Financing Forum (MFF) aims to answer these questions and more.
This year’s MFF, to be held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore from 27-29 November, will cover topics such as The Changing Face of Media Content Financing and Its Relation to Asia and Content Development, Production, Distribution and Financing Challenges – A Regional Industry Perspective.
To give a greater insight into the nitty-gritty details that surround media financing, case studies as well as personal accounts will be presented by industry specialists from the US, UK, France, Hong Kong and Singapore.
In conjunction with the forum, the MFF Business Lounge will allow directors, producers and other content creators to meet potential financiers in friendly and intimate one-on-one meetings. There, they will get the chance to pitch their ideas and present their dreams to would-be partners.
